Attendance
Attendance rules
Attendance counts towards your certificate. This is how it is recorded and worked out.
- Marked for every class
- After each class the trainer marks every learner present, late, absent or excused.
- How your percentage is worked out
- Classes where you were present or late count as attended. Excused absences are left out of the total, so they do not lower your percentage.
- An email when you are marked absent
- You get an email with your attendance so far. If the record is wrong, reply to it and the team will check.
- Needed for your certificate
- To be eligible for the certificate you need the minimum attendance for your course and the passing marks in the assessments.
Your course's minimum attendance is in the "Min. attendance" column under Class timings by course. Your percentage is worked out on the classes held so far and is checked against it when results are prepared.
Be class-ready
Before you join a class
A few simple things make every live class smoother for you, your trainer and your batch.
What you need
-
A device with a camera and microphone
A laptop or desktop works best for hands-on work; a smartphone or tablet with the Google Meet app also works.
-
A stable internet connection
Enough for a video call that lasts the whole class. Keep mobile data as a backup if you can.
-
A quiet, well-lit place
So you can hear clearly, speak when asked and, in practical courses, be seen properly by the trainer.
-
Your notebook and course materials
A notebook and pen, plus anything your course needs, such as art supplies, a yoga mat or an instrument.
Some courses add their own joining instructions. You will find them on the course page and with your class schedule.
Good habits in a live class
- Join a few minutes early so the class can start on time.
- Join with your registered name so your attendance can be marked.
- Keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking.
- Use headphones or earphones to avoid echo.
- Turn your camera on when the trainer asks, especially for practical work.
- Use the raise-hand or chat option to ask a question.
- Do not share your joining link, and do not record the class without permission.
- Be respectful to the trainer and to other learners.
Between classes

FAQ
Questions about live classes
Are the classes live or recorded?
All classes are taught live on Google Meet at the published class timings. You attend in real time and can ask questions during the class.
When and where do I get the Google Meet link?
You never need the link itself. After your payment is verified and your application is approved, each scheduled class shows a "Join now" button on the Check Application Status page. The button works from 15 minutes before the class starts until it ends and opens the class directly. Meeting links are never published on the website or sent by email.
What are the class timings?
Each course has fixed class days and timings, listed under "Class timings by course" on this page and on the course page. All times are in prashant.
How many learners are there in a batch?
Each batch has a limited number of seats, set for each course and shown on this page and on the course page. Admissions for a batch close when all its seats are filled.
What is the minimum attendance?
It is set for each course and shown in the "Min. attendance" column under "Class timings by course" on this page, and on the course page. You need it, together with the passing marks, to be eligible for the certificate.
What happens if I miss a class?
You are marked absent for that class and get an email with your attendance so far. If you could not attend for a genuine reason, tell the team: an absence marked as excused is not counted against your percentage.
What if a class is rescheduled or cancelled?
You get an email with the new date and time, or the cancellation notice, and the change is shown on the schedule page and on your application status page.
What device and internet connection do I need?
A laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection. A laptop or desktop is best for hands-on courses.
Where do I find class notes and learning materials?
On your application status page, once your application is approved and your payment is verified. We also email you when new material is added.
More answers about eligibility, fees and certificates are on the FAQ page.
